I come to Pausa after many years on the road — of searching, of healing, of being silent, of getting to know myself, of seeking a full life, a life with meaning. I come after living through many different experiences: kindergarten, school, university, a course in spiritual guidance, a master's degree, family life, life with friends, years connected to experiences close to sport. I come after a personal breaking point 17 years ago, from which I began living a part of life more in touch with my inner world — partly by choice, and partly because circumstances led me to live in a different key.
And living in that key is what leads me to found Pausa. For me, Pausa is enjoyment, a path, a huge undertaking, a challenge, a possibility life has given me — "a lot" — a space where I can keep growing, where I can keep transforming, in peace and fullness, a place I share with people I value and enjoy seeing and sharing each day with. A place that helps me live as authentically as possible, where I can be grateful and where I can say no. Where I dare, where I take risks, where I grow in confidence, and where, again and again, I connect with how abundant life is.
And finally, a vehicle, a space where I could put to use so many experiences, lessons, and knowledge I lived through and kept incorporating in service of others. A means to help myself and others live each day better.

Something was wrong in organizations and we just couldn't stand it. We felt it firsthand: the way we worked, the exhausting pace, the helplessness of running without really knowing where we were going. We saw how work frenzy affected leaders, teams, and collaborators. How reactive cultures, lacking presence or purpose, permeated companies, affecting people. We struggled to manage this relentless workflow ourselves. We looked at each other. This has to change, we said. We wanted to understand what a person needs to manage — and live — better.
We decided to stop and ask ourselves how this reality could be changed. And so this management platform was born. Out of watching closely. Listening. Perceiving. We asked ourselves questions: Can we work more consciously? Can we have healthier organizations? Organizations with less pressure and more perspective, with less anxiety and more quality.
We did deep introspection. We listened, observed, modeled. We learned and created a methodology that springs out of real experience — from others, and our own. We are amid transformation ourselves. We identified logics that help people. That helped us. We turned consulting into a product. We went from one-to-one to collective, without losing depth.
We designed a technology that integrates action with reflection, the "soft" with the "hard," the visible with the invisible. We gave it a name: PAUSA — Spanish for "break," "stop," "pause."
We're here to build a culture committed to conscious growth without sacrificing impact or profitability. We're here to embrace the challenge of scaling without emptying out meaning. We believe PAUSA is here to contribute to a new paradigm in the way people work and live. PAUSA is here to stay.
